Grant Description:

The purpose of the "NMECT Teachers with Infertility Grant" is to award multiple $500 grants to Atlanta, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Fayette, or Fulton County Public School classroom teachers who have been diagnosed with infertility, does not have infertility treatment insurance coverage and currently seeking treatment during 2025. This financial assistance is to offset some of the medical expense due to the lack of infertility treatment insurance coverage by State Health Benefits Plan (Georgia).  

*Grants will be awarded in 2025 and paid directly to the treatment provider/fertility center.  


Application Deadline- May 4, 2025 11:59pm EST

Winners Announced- May 9, 2025 (Teacher's Appreciation Day) 



Requirements:

*Full-time classroom teacher in Atlanta Public Schools, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Fayette, or Fulton County Public Schools (Georgia, USA)

*At least 5-years of (lead teacher) in classroom experience (verification letter from principal/district after selected)

*No insurance coverage for infertility treatment (ie. no IVF or IUI procedure coverage)

*250-500 word essay about your infertility journey (mandatory)

*Application Fee: $10 (NMECT general donation/ raffle ticket purchase)
